ASP Instructor Certification (AIC) Classes
Below is a list of upcoming AIC classes. These are open to approved law enforcement agencies and officers, qualified military personnel, private security, and other pre-qualified participants. If you have approval from your agency, click on the applicable class to apply. If unsure whether you qualify, contact the ASP Training Coordinator with your location of interest, agency name and rank/title, official email, and phone number. Qualified applicants will receive a reply if an opportunity is available. Enrollment closes 30 days prior to class date.
Note: ASP provides Instructor Certification Programs directly to law enforcement at no cost. Classes marked with * are private AIC courses and may charge a nominal fee.
ASP’s free, factory-sponsored courses in the United States require a refundable security deposit, paid at time of application. This security deposit will only be forfeited in the event that an attendee cancels less than 30 days before the course date, or is a “no-show” for any or all days of the course. Most AICs fill completely and many have wait lists, so this policy has been put in place to ensure fairness to all who wish to attend. More information on this on the application form. For courses outside of the United States, applicants will be contacted locally with information about cancellation policy and other terms.
