Below is a list of upcoming ASP Instructor Certification (AIC) classes. Classes are open to approved law enforcement agencies and officers, qualified military personnel, private security and other pre-qualified participants. If you have received necessary approval through your agency to participate, click on the applicable class to complete your application. If you are unsure if you qualify and are interested in participating in an AIC, contact the ASP Training Coordinator. Please specify the location you are interested in, your agency and rank or title, official email address and contact phone number. The ASP Training Coordinator will reply to all qualified inquiries if an AIC opportunity is available. Enrollment closes 30 days prior to class date.
Note: ASP provides Instructor Certification Programs directly to the law enforcement community at no cost. However, some programs (designated with * below) are private AIC courses, which may charge a nominal fee to defray expenses.
ASP’s free, factory-sponsored courses in the United States require a refundable security deposit, paid at time of application. This security deposit will only be forfeited in the event that an attendee cancels less than 30 days before the course date, or is a “no-show” for any or all days of the course. Most AICs fill completely and many have wait lists, so this policy has been put in place to ensure fairness to all who wish to attend. More information on this on the application form. For courses outside of the United States, applicants will be contacted locally with information about cancellation policy and other terms
