ASP is proud to have the finest sales team in the law enforcement industry (that’s not just our opinion—it’s what our customers tell us all the time). Unlike many companies, our Sales Directors are full-time, salaried territory managers, not commissioned multi-line representatives. While there are many outstanding independent reps, and that model works well for many manufacturers, the dedicated Director model has proven to be better for us and for our customers. It enables our sales team to be completely aligned on our mission and incentives. It allows them to shift attention and resources among varying priorities—from Distributor sales, to agency relations, to training programs and more—rather than just be under pressure to write orders.
George Ansardi
Director of Government Sales
George joined ASP in 2022, after an accomplished 33-year law enforcement career. He specialized in drug enforcement and special response, and retired with the rank of Captain. Originally hailing from Meraux, Louisiana, George’s passions include competitive spearfishing in the Gulf of Mexico, and Texas Hold’em Poker. George says “I was excited for the next chapter of my career to be with ASP. My department has carried ASP batons for nearly 30 years, so I know the quality and effectiveness—I love that I can convey that to our customers confidently, firsthand.”
Nathan Campbell
Director of Sales — Midwest US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand
Nathan joined ASP in 2014. He’s originally from western Pennsylvania, but has lived in Minnesota for almost twenty years. Prior to coming to ASP, Nathan spent several successful years on the sales and marketing team of another major law enforcement equipment manufacturer. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and curling in his adopted home state. Nathan comments, “representing ASP means directly supporting law enforcement officers, making sure they have the best possible equipment and training. And this, in turn, helps the communities they serve.”
Marc De Leener
International Sales Director
Marc has officially been with ASP since 2017, but really much longer—for years prior to joining our sales team, he was our Distributor in Belgium. After his army service, Marc dedicated his career to supporting military and law enforcement professionals, and he continues that commitment as our “international ambassador”—traveling up to 200 days a year in the process. Marc and his wife enjoy riding their motorcycles, and good food and drink.
Aaron Hill
Director of Sales — Mideast US
Aaron started with ASP in 2019. He’s a native of Charleston (the one in West Virginia), and prior to joining ASP he had a long and successful career in the telecom industry. His earlier career highlights included sales management positions with Sprint and Samsung. In his free time, Aaron enjoys competing in sports—particularly wrestling, boxing and powerlifting—and spending time with his teenage son. Aaron says “it’s very rewarding to work for a company that has such a great reputation and positive impact on the law enforcement community.”
Rene Ramos
Director of Sales — Southeast US & Latin America
Rene joined the ASP family in 2009 as a law enforcement Instructor, and was later certified as an ASP Trainer. Rene has 21 years of Law Enforcement experience—including as an instructor in all high departmental liability subjects—and retired in 2024 from the Hillsborough County (FL) Sheriff’s Office. Prior to his Law Enforcement service, Rene proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Outside of work, he enjoys anything to do with fitness or firearms.
Carlos Ruiz
Sales Director
Carlos joined ASP in 2024, following four years of service in law enforcement. Prior to his public service, Carlos had a successful career in sales, so he comes to ASP with a great perspective on both what we do and who we do it for. Carlos lives in California with his wife and their two dogs. Outside of work, he competes in muay thai and boxing, and enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and hunting.
Bill Wheatley
Sales Director
Bill has been with ASP since 2015. He has over thirty years of military and law enforcement experience, as a Desert Storm Veteran and retired Detective Sergeant with the New Jersey State Police. He and his wife live on a 6-acre farm in New Jersey, and they enjoy backpacking, camping, sailing, beekeeping and gardening.
Eric Alexander
Director of Sales — Midsouth US and Asia
Eric joined ASP in 2025, bringing a unique blend of public-sector experience and high-performance leadership. Prior to joining ASP, he worked in the commercial insurance industry, dealing closely with municipalities and public entities. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from Louisiana State University, where he also excelled on the football field, including LSU's 2003 National Championship run. He then played seven seasons in the National Football League, including six with the New England Patriots, winning Super Bowl XXXIX. Eric is based in New Orleans.
