Orders ship from our warehouse in Appleton, WI. The majority of in-stock orders leave the warehouse within 1-2 business days. Personalized/laser-engraved orders may require more time.

Orders ship either UPS or USPS.  Orders over $99 qualify for free standard ground
shipping (Continental US). Some exclusions apply. OC Defenders and Inserts may only be shipped via UPS
Ground.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: a limited assortment of products is available for worldwide shipping. This includes primarily flashlights, training gear, lifestyle products and other non-restricted items. Batons, restraints, OC and other restricted items are strictly prohibited from international shipping and will automatically be removed from international shopping cart.

Every officer who’s experienced live OC exposure—whether intentionally in training or “second hand” on the street—knows that it’s miserable. It’s meant to be. The typical decontamination process usually involves clear air, cool water, sometimes dish soap, and a lot of painful patience. It can take 30 minutes to an hour or more to substantially recover using those methods; that’s a long time to be sitting out training or unavailable for service. That’s where Defender Decon comes in.

Defender Decon’s proprietary, eco-friendly formula lifts the oily residue that OC leaves behind, making it easier to blot off and rinse away. Properly used, the product can speed up initial relief and reduce overall recovery time. Every person and every set of circumstances is different, but officers and academy cadets who tried Defender Decon in a training environment reported substantial relief beginning as quickly as 10-15 minutes—much faster than their colleagues using soap and water.   

The product is available in a compact canister (the same size as a MK-4 OC can) or a 32 oz. sprayer. There’s also a Defender Decon Patrol Kit, which includes two of the MK-4 size canisters, nitrile gloves, soft paper towels and a laminated procedure card, all in a durable, zippered storage case (storage case color may vary). Defender Decon should be in every public safety vehicle—police, fire and EMS—and every training environment where OC exposure is possible.
