You read that right, 3K. The Griffin-C is, by a long stretch, the brightest flashlight we’ve ever built. It’s a powerful tool with a powerful set of specs and features. The default max brightness mode sends 3000 lumens of brilliant white LED light more than 700 feet downrange. A user-programmable secondary mode—25 or 400 lumens, or strobe—is there for those times when you want to be a little more subtle. In keeping with our emphasis on intuitive design and simplicity in our law enforcement tools and training, activation is via a single pressure switch on the tail cap—press once to activate the primary/high setting, twice (“Double Tap”) to activate the user-programmed alternate level. Setting the secondary light level takes just seconds; simply tap the gray selector button to cycle through the levels until you reach your chosen setting. A 3-position twist selector on the tail cap allows activation in momentary or constant-on modes, or switch lockout to avoid inadvertent battery drain.

Tri-Fuel technology means you’ll never be without a power source―it runs with either a rechargeable 21700 battery (included), or optional 18650 rechargeable or CR123A primary (single use) cells. The 21700 battery charges inside the flashlight, using the supplied retractable cord, or any USB-C portable electronics charging cord―no separate battery charger needed. Onboard indicators display recharging status and remaining power capacity. In addition to in-light recharging, the battery can be charged on its own, simply by plugging the cord directly into the onboard USB-C port in the cell.

The Griffin is machined from 6061 T6 aerospace aluminum, type III hardcoat anodized in a proprietary matte black finish. The barrel is wrapped in our exclusive, all-weather foamed vinyl grip. Premium components include Cree XHP-70 LED, gold-plated connectors, polished aluminum reflector, optical glass lens and more. The Griffin is also compatible with our exclusive Tactical Light Case (sold separately), making it a versatile, hands-free illumination tool.
