Real feedback from the field

Sentry Cuffs are incredibly smooth, durable, and have an impressive double locking mechanism... The quality is worth the price, [and] we are planning to replace the handcuffs in our tactical unit with the Sentry cuffs. I highly recommend them to anyone in corrections or law enforcement. I have nothing but good things to say—the ASP Sentry restraints are excellent.

Sentry® Handcuffs feature I-beam inspired, rigid frames made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a beautiful and unique bead-blasted finish. The dimensional profile of the double bars provides strength without excessive bulk. This—combined with a precision roller bearing pivot and forged steel bow—yields a hitch-free, smooth swing. Unlike traditional stamped steel cuffs, the frame and bow are manufactured to eliminate sharp edges and rough surfaces. This reduces the risk of subject discomfort or injury—common causes of complaints and liability claims against police departments.

In addition to their unique construction, Sentry Cuffs offer a variety of the exclusive operational features found in our top of the line Ultra Cuff restraint family. These include dual-sided keyways and double lock slots, to speed application and removal. The forged heat treated steel bows have flat contact areas, so they apply more precisely and safely. A single-direction key turn releases the double lock and then the bow, and also allows for safe, easy “loosen and lock” adjustment.

And then there’s the price. After several years of development, testing and refinement, Sentry restraints come to you at an extraordinary value. Genuine, premium-quality ASP handcuffs, within reach of every officer and agency.

EXCELLENT HANDCUFFS!

"The first pair of these I purchased I was not a fan of due to the ratcheting being so loose and I was constantly having to loosen handcuffs on suspects. I switched back to Peerless. However, I heard Asp tightened the ratcheting up on these cuffs, so I bought a pair and WOW! They ratchet like a pair Peerless or SW cuffs! I have used them on 3 suspects and they go on smooth and don’t over tighten! I have now ordered a second pair of Hinged and 2 pairs of chain. So long to my other cuffs from other manufacturers, ASP got it right this time!"

Amazing

"These things are slick so easy to use have a nice weight to them. Only down side is they may work too nice and easy. Some cases are annoying with these because they work so smooth and if you touch the side of the case these want to open"
